Description

Delicious Crumbl Salted Caramel Cheesecake Cookies that combine the rich flavors of cheesecake and caramel in a soft, chewy cookie.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gently fold in the caramel sauce until well blended.
  6. Scoop out a tablespoon of cookie dough and flatten it slightly in your palm. Place a teaspoon of the cream cheese caramel mixture in the center and fold the dough around it to form a ball.
  7. Place the cookie balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding 1/2 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts to the cookie dough.
  • To make these cookies even more decadent, drizzle additional caramel sauce over the top before serving.
