Ingredients

  • 2 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup red cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds or peanuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the green cabbage, red cabbage, carrots, green onions, cilantro, and nuts if using. Toss well to mix all the ingredients evenly.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey or maple syrup, ginger, garlic, and sesame seeds until well combined.
