Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped (or 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained)
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the pan)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch pie dish with olive oil.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped spinach, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the egg mixture into the cheese and spinach mixture. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the pie is set and the top is lightly golden.
- Allow the pie to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, sauté the spinach in a little olive oil with minced garlic before mixing it into the cheese mixture.
