Description

A delicious and healthy breakfast option featuring rolled oats, cocoa powder, fresh strawberries, and optional dark chocolate chips, perfect for a quick morning meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture evenly into two jars or containers with lids.
  3. Layer the sliced strawberries on top of the oat mixture in each jar. If using, sprinkle dark chocolate chips on top.
  4. Seal the jars and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to soak and soften.
  5. In the morning, stir the oats and enjoy cold, or heat them in the microwave for 30-60 seconds if you prefer them warm.
