Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ¾ cups milk
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 10 Oreo cookies, crushed (plus extra for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (do not overmix; lumps are fine).
- Gently fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
- Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour about ¼ cup of batter for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on top and edges look set (about 2–3 minutes), then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.
- Stack the pancakes, top with whipped cream, drizzle with chocolate syrup, and sprinkle extra crushed Oreos on top.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding chocolate chips to the batter.
- These pancakes can be made ahead and reheated in the toaster.
