Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 20 regular-sized marshmallows
- 5 cups popped popcorn
- ¼ cup hot pink candy melts
- 1 tsp vegetable shortening or coconut oil
- Easter-themed sprinkles
- Easter-themed icing decorations
Instructions
Step 1: Melt the Marshmallow Mixture
- Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Add the marshmallows to the bowl, stirring to coat them in butter.
- Microwave the marshmallow mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until completely melted and smooth.
Step 2: Coat the Popcorn
- Grease a 9×9 baking dish.
- Add the popped popcorn to the dish.
- Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the popcorn, stirring to coat it evenly.
- Press the coated popcorn firmly into an even layer in the dish.
Step 3: Decorate
- In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the candy melts with the vegetable shortening or coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Using a fork, drizzle the melted candy over the popcorn mixture.
- Sprinkle with Easter-themed sprinkles.
- Press icing decorations onto the top, spacing them evenly for 9 squares.
Step 4: Chill & Serve
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Cut into 9 squares and serve!
