Ingredients
- 1 (4 oz) bag of puffcorn
- 12 oz candy melts in Easter colors (or mix pastels)
- 2 teaspoons butter-flavored shortening
- Easter sprinkles (as desired)
Instructions
- Prepare the Puff Corn
- Place the puff corn in a large mixing bowl.
- Melt the Chocolate
- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the candy melts and shortening in 30-second intervals, stirring between each round until completely melted.
- Coat the Puff Corn
- Pour the melted candy mixture over the puff corn and mix thoroughly until all pieces are evenly coated.
- If using multiple colors, repeat this step separately for each color.
- Add the Sprinkles
- Spread the coated puff corn on wax paper and immediately sprinkle with Easter sprinkles.
- Set & Store
- Let the puff corn sit until the candy coating hardens.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week
