Description

A delightful and easy-to-make apple crumble cheesecake that combines creamy cheesecake with a crunchy crumble topping.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples (about 2 medium apples)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1 cup granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until fully incorporated. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  5. In a separate bowl, toss the diced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, rolled oats, and flour. Sprinkle this crumble mixture over the apples.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a tablespoon of lemon juice to the apple mixture.
  • You can substitute the apples with pears or berries for a different twist.
  • Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
