Description

This Easy Strawberry Mousse is light, airy, and bursting with fresh strawberry flavor! With its creamy texture and naturally sweet taste, this no-bake dessert is perfect for any occasion—from summer gatherings to elegant dinner parties. The best part? It requires just a few simple ingredients and minimal effort to create a beautifully smooth and luscious treat.

Ingredients

For the Strawberry Mousse

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin powder
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

For Garnishing (Optional but Recommended!)

  • Fresh strawberry slices
  • Whipped cream
  • Mint leaves
  • Dark chocolate shavings

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Strawberry Puree

  • Blend strawberries, lemon juice, and ¼ cup of powdered sugar in a blender until smooth.
  • Strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds for a silky texture.

2️⃣ Bloom the Gelatin

  • In a small bowl, mix cold water and gelatin. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it thickens.
  • Heat gently in a small saucepan over low heat until completely dissolved.

3️⃣ Combine the Strawberry Mixture

  • Stir the dissolved gelatin into the strawberry puree and mix well.

4️⃣ Whip the Heavy Cream

  • In a large mixing bowl, whip heavy cream, vanilla extract, and the remaining powdered sugar until soft peaks form.

5️⃣ Fold Everything Together

  • Gently fold the strawberry mixture into the whipped cream, making sure not to deflate the airiness.

6️⃣ Chill & Set

  • Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or ramekins.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the mousse to set properly.

7️⃣ Garnish & Serve

  • Top with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, or chocolate shavings.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

✔️ Use Cold Heavy Cream – It whips up better and holds air.
✔️ Fold Gently – Keeps the mousse light and airy instead of dense.
✔️ Chill for At Least 2 Hours – Allows flavors to develop and the mousse to set.
