  • 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and sauté for about 2 minutes until it starts to soften.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and julienned carrot, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the carrot is tender.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage and sliced red bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is wilted but still crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
