Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 ounces of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 ounces of crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 French baguette, sliced into 1-inch thick pieces
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and golden brown.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and blue cheese. Mix until well combined.
  5. Add the sautéed mushrooms to the cheese mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
  6. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Spoon the mushroom and cheese mixture generously onto each slice.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
