Description

A festive and fun holiday treat, Fun Christmas Candy Bark is as delightful to make as it is to eat. With creamy white chocolate, crunchy cookies, and colorful decorations, this easy, no-bake dessert is perfect for parties, gifting, or family fun.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound almond bark or white melting chocolate
  • 12 Golden Oreo cookies
  • 6 red and green gumdrops, halved
  • 1 piece Twizzler pull and peel, separated into strands
  • 36 red and green mini M&Ms
  • Black cookie icing (as needed for decoration)
  • Orange cookie icing (as needed for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients
    • Halve the gumdrops and separate the Twizzler pull and peel into thin strands.
  2. Melt the Chocolate
    • Break the almond bark into smaller pieces and melt in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth.
  3. Line the Baking Sheet
    • Place parchment paper on a baking tray to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
  4. Create the Base
    • Spoon 12 dollops of melted chocolate onto the parchment paper.
  5. Add Oreos
    • Press one Golden Oreo onto each chocolate dollop.
  6. Cover the Cookies
    • Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the Oreos, spreading evenly to create a bark layer.
  7. Decorate
    • Buttons: Place three mini M&Ms beneath each cookie to resemble buttons.
    • Arms: Attach gumdrop halves on each side of the cookie, connecting with Twizzler strands to mimic arms.
    • Faces: Use black icing for eyes and a mouth. Add a small dab of orange icing for a carrot-like nose.
  8. Set the Bark
    • Chill the tray in the fridge for 1 hour or let it sit at room temperature until firm.
  9. Cut and Serve
    • Use a warm knife to cut the bark into pieces. Serve or package for gifting.

Notes

  • Use high-quality almond bark for the best texture and flavor.
  • Decorate while the chocolate is warm to ensure decorations stick.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
