Description

A rich and gooey chocolate cake infused with creamy peanut butter, perfect for dessert lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the melted butter, peanut butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake, as you want the cake to remain gooey.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of espresso powder to the batter.
  • You can top the cake with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an indulgent dessert.
  • If you prefer a nut-free version, substitute the peanut butter with sunflower seed butter.
