Description

Gooey Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs are delicious, cheesy treats made with biscuit dough and filled with mozzarella cheese, perfect for a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches in diameter.
  3. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each biscuit circle. Fold the edges of the biscuit over the cheese and pinch to seal tightly, forming a ball.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Dip each biscuit ball into the butter mixture, ensuring they are well-coated, then place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the tops of the biscuit bombs.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture.
  • Experiment with different cheeses, such as cheddar or pepper jack, for a unique flavor twist.
