Description
Gooey Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs are delicious, cheesy treats made with biscuit dough and filled with mozzarella cheese, perfect for a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches in diameter.
- Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each biscuit circle. Fold the edges of the biscuit over the cheese and pinch to seal tightly, forming a ball.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each biscuit ball into the butter mixture, ensuring they are well-coated, then place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the tops of the biscuit bombs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture.
- Experiment with different cheeses, such as cheddar or pepper jack, for a unique flavor twist.
