Description

Tender, golden, and packed with cheesy herb flavor—these Parmesan Garlic Chicken Skewers are oven-baked bites of pure comfort. Perfect as a party appetizer, quick dinner, or game day snack, they’re simple to make but big on flavor!

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Wooden or metal skewers (soak wooden skewers for 30 minutes if using)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes and set aside.

  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss until each piece is evenly coated with the Parmesan herb mixture.

  5. Thread the seasoned chicken pieces onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

  6. Arrange the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment or foil.

  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temp should reach 165°F).

  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Serve hot with dipping sauce if desired.

Notes

  • These skewers can also be grilled over medium heat for a smoky finish—about 10–12 minutes total, turning once.

  • Great as a low-carb appetizer or main dish.

  • Try with a side of marinara, ranch, or garlic aioli for extra flavor.

  • Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 3 days—reheat in the oven or air fryer for best texture.

  • You can substitute the chicken with pork tenderloin or large shrimp (adjust cooking time accordingly).
