Ingredients
- 2 (14.5-ounce) cans green beans, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup French fried onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained green beans, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil. Pour the green bean mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the French fried onions evenly over the top. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and crispy.
- Let the casserole cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
- For added flavor, mix in cooked bacon bits or sautéed mushrooms before baking.
