Description
Hot Chocolate Lasagna is a decadent dessert that layers graham cracker crust, creamy fillings, and rich chocolate pudding, topped with whipped cream and marshmallows.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 2 cups milk
- 1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 package (3.9 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Chocolate syrup for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and both pudding mixes until thickened, about 2 minutes. Pour the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer and spread it evenly.
- Next, spread the remaining 2 cups of whipped topping over the chocolate pudding layer.
- Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chocolate chips evenly on top. Drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results, to allow the layers to set.
- When ready to serve, slice into squares and enjoy!
Notes
- For a minty twist, add 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract to the cream cheese layer.
- Substitute the chocolate pudding with white chocolate pudding for a different flavor profile.
