Description

Hot Chocolate Lasagna is a decadent dessert that layers graham cracker crust, creamy fillings, and rich chocolate pudding, topped with whipped cream and marshmallows.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 package (3.9 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and both pudding mixes until thickened, about 2 minutes. Pour the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer and spread it evenly.
  4. Next, spread the remaining 2 cups of whipped topping over the chocolate pudding layer.
  5. Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chocolate chips evenly on top. Drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results, to allow the layers to set.
  7. When ready to serve, slice into squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a minty twist, add 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract to the cream cheese layer.
