Description

Hot Honey Peach Wings are a deliciously sweet and spicy dish that combines crispy chicken wings with a flavorful peach sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup peach preserves
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and olive oil until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. While the wings are baking, prepare the hot honey peach sauce by combining peach preserves, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and toss them in the hot honey peach sauce until well coated.
  6. Return the coated wings to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more hot sauce to the sauce mixture or sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes over the wings before serving.
  • For a smoky flavor, consider grilling the wings instead of baking them, brushing them with the sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
