Description
Hot Honey Peach Wings are a deliciously sweet and spicy dish that combines crispy chicken wings with a flavorful peach sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup peach preserves
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and olive oil until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the hot honey peach sauce by combining peach preserves, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and toss them in the hot honey peach sauce until well coated.
- Return the coated wings to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more hot sauce to the sauce mixture or sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes over the wings before serving.
- For a smoky flavor, consider grilling the wings instead of baking them, brushing them with the sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
