Description

A delicious and creamy Boston Cream Pie Cheesecake that combines the flavors of classic Boston cream pie with a rich cheesecake.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and 1 cup of granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream until fully incorporated.
  7. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust in the springform pan.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour to cool gradually.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips and milk. Stir until melted and smooth.
  12. Allow the chocolate to cool slightly before drizzling it over the chilled cheesecake.
  13. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  14. Spread the whipped cream over the top of the cheesecake before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a tablespoon of instant coffee granules to the chocolate mixture.
  • You can also substitute the graham cracker crust with an Oreo cookie crust for a chocolatey twist.
