Delicious Korean BBQ Meatballs that are easy to make and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, try mixing in a tablespoon of gochujang (Korean chili paste) into the meatball mixture.
- These meatballs can be served with a side of steamed rice or lettuce wraps for a fun twist.
