Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add the softened butter, egg, vanilla extract, buttermilk, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the dry ingredients. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes until well combined.
