Description
A delicious twist on traditional pasta, this Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta combines fettuccine with ground beef, crispy bacon, and a creamy cheese sauce.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and drain on paper towels, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.
- In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess grease if necessary.
- Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Gradually add the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and crispy bacon to the cheese sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions and diced tomatoes.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the beef mixture.
- Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option, and use low-fat cheese to reduce calories.
