Description

A creamy and delicious Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with pasta for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
  • 1/4 cup sliced pickles
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and drain on paper towels, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in the salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, beef broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  5. Add the cooked pasta, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, pickles, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Stir until everything is well combined and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with crispy bacon and sliced green onions.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey for the beef and use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Add a tablespoon of mustard to the sauce for an extra tangy flavor, or mix in some sautéed mushrooms for added texture.
