Description
Delicious low-carb burger lettuce wraps filled with seasoned ground beef and topped with a special sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 head of romaine lettuce, leaves separated
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup dill pickles, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- While the beef is cooking, prepare the special sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Once the beef is cooked, assemble the wraps. Take a lettuce leaf and add a scoop of the cooked beef, followed by cherry tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped dill pickles.
- Drizzle the special sauce over the top of the fillings and fold the lettuce leaf around the ingredients to form a wrap.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the wraps.
- Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option, adjusting the cooking time as needed.
