Ingredients
- Tallow or another heat-tolerant fat (1 tablespoon)
- Bulk sausage of choice (1 pound)
- Beef broth, homemade or store-bought (1 cup)
- Cream cheese (1 8-ounce package)

Instructions
- Sizzle and Brown
- Heat a Dutch oven or soup pot over medium-high heat.
- Add the tallow and coat the pot evenly.
- Cook the Sausage
- Add the sausage, breaking it into bite-sized pieces.
- Cook until browned and fully cooked (about 10 minutes).
- Drain excess fat, leaving 2 tablespoons in the pot.
- Melt and Blend
- Stir in the beef broth and cream cheese.
- Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cream cheese melts and blends into the broth.
- Simmer to Perfection
