Ingredients

  • 2 (5-ounce) cans of tuna in water, drained
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil, drained)
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add them to the tuna mixture. Stir until fully combined.
  4. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and pour the tuna mixture into the crust, spreading it evenly.
  5. Drizzle the top with olive oil for added flavor.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the pie is set and the top is lightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
