Description
Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies are a decadent dessert combining rich brownie layers with creamy cheesecake and caramel, perfect for chocolate lovers.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup Milky Way candy bars, chopped (about 4 bars)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chopped Milky Way bars.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer in the pan. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cream cheese layer.
- Carefully spoon the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese and caramel layers, spreading it gently to cover.
- Use a knife or a toothpick to swirl the layers together slightly for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of espresso powder to the brownie batter.
- You can substitute the Milky Way bars with your favorite chocolate candy bars for a different twist.
- For an extra indulgent treat, serve the brownies warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
