Description

Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies are a decadent dessert combining rich brownie layers with creamy cheesecake and caramel, perfect for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup Milky Way candy bars, chopped (about 4 bars)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chopped Milky Way bars.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  8. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer in the pan. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Carefully spoon the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese and caramel layers, spreading it gently to cover.
  10. Use a knife or a toothpick to swirl the layers together slightly for a marbled effect.
  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  12. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of espresso powder to the brownie batter.
  • You can substitute the Milky Way bars with your favorite chocolate candy bars for a different twist.
  • For an extra indulgent treat, serve the brownies warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
