Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie pan or a deep-dish pie plate.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
