Description
Mini Peach Pies are delightful, easy-to-make treats perfect for summer, featuring a sweet peach filling encased in a flaky crust.
Ingredients
- 2 cups canned peach slices, drained and chopped
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for sprinkling)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out one pie crust on a lightly floured surface. Using a round cutter or a glass, cut out circles about 4 inches in diameter.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of chopped peaches in the center of each circle. If desired, sprinkle a little sugar and cinnamon over the peaches.
- Fold the pie crust over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges together to seal, and use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch.
- Place the mini pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. If desired, brush the tops with a little melted butter and sprinkle with additional sugar.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Allow the pies to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a twist, try using other canned fruits like cherries or blueberries instead of peaches.
- Serve the mini pies warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra treat.
