Description

A delicious and easy no-bake dessert that combines the classic flavors of a banana split in a cake form.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries for topping

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in half of the whipped cream mixture until combined.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust. Layer the sliced bananas on top, followed by the crushed pineapple and sliced strawberries.
  5. Spread the remaining whipped cream mixture over the fruit layer. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and sprinkle with chopped walnuts, if using.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  7. Before serving, top with maraschino cherries and additional chocolate syrup if desired.

Notes

  • For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free graham crackers for the crust.
  • You can substitute the fruit with your favorites, such as blueberries or peaches, to customize the flavor.
