Description
A delicious and easy no-bake dessert that combines the classic flavors of a banana split in a cake form.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- Maraschino cherries for topping
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in half of the whipped cream mixture until combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust. Layer the sliced bananas on top, followed by the crushed pineapple and sliced strawberries.
- Spread the remaining whipped cream mixture over the fruit layer. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and sprinkle with chopped walnuts, if using.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Before serving, top with maraschino cherries and additional chocolate syrup if desired.
Notes
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free graham crackers for the crust.
- You can substitute the fruit with your favorites, such as blueberries or peaches, to customize the flavor.
