Description

A delicious and festive no-bake dessert featuring layers of Oreo cookies, cream cheese, chocolate pudding, and whipped topping, perfect for Christmas celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (12-ounce) container whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (3.9-ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies (for topping)
  • Additional whole Oreos for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until the cookies are evenly coated.
  2. Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form a crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Fold in half of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the Oreo crust in the baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer and spread it evenly.
  7. Top the pudding layer with the remaining whipped topping, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  8. Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies over the top for a festive touch. If desired, add whole Oreos for garnish.
  9. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the layers to set properly.

  • For a different flavor, substitute the chocolate pudding with vanilla or white chocolate pudding.
