Description
A delicious and easy-to-make No-Bake German Chocolate Cheesecake that combines the rich flavors of chocolate, coconut, and pecans.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 pre-made chocolate cookie crust (9-inch)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Allow to cool slightly before folding into the cream cheese mixture.
- Add the shredded coconut and chopped pecans to the mixture, folding gently to combine.
- Pour the cheesecake filling into the pre-made chocolate cookie crust, spreading it evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set. For best results, chill overnight.
- Before serving, garnish with additional coconut and pecans if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a tablespoon of espresso powder to the melted chocolate.
- If you prefer a lighter version, substitute half of the cream cheese with Greek yogurt.
