Description

A delicious and creamy Nutella Banana Pudding that combines the rich flavors of Nutella with fresh bananas and vanilla wafers.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 package (12 oz) vanilla wafers
  • Whipped cream, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, sugar, cornstarch, and salt over medium heat. Continue whisking until the mixture begins to thicken and bubble, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and Nutella until fully combined and smooth.
  3. In a 9×13 inch dish, layer half of the vanilla wafers on the bottom.
  4. Add half of the sliced bananas over the wafers, followed by half of the Nutella pudding mixture.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining wafers, bananas, and pudding.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  7. Before serving, top with whipped cream and additional banana slices if desired.

Notes

  • For a crunchier texture, add chopped nuts or chocolate chips between the layers.
  • Substitute almond milk or coconut milk for a dairy-free version, and use dairy-free whipped topping.
