Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • Graham cracker crumbs – 2 cups (about 15 crackers)
  • Unsalted butter (melted) – ½ cup (1 stick)
  • Granulated sugar – ¼ cup

For the Cheesecake Layer:

  • Cream cheese (softened) – 16 oz (2 packages)
  • Granulated sugar – 1 cup
  • Eggs – 2 large
  • Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
  • Sour cream – ½ cup

For the Nutella Layer:

  • Nutella – 1 cup
  • Heavy cream – ¼ cup

Instructions

 Preheat and Prep

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.

2. Make the Crust

  • In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly moistened.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool slightly while preparing the cheesecake layer.

3. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling

  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the granulated sugar and mix until well incorporated.
  • Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream, mixing until smooth.

4. Assemble the Cheesecake Layer

  • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust. Spread it evenly to the edges using a spatula.

5. Prepare the Nutella Swirl

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine Nutella and heavy cream.
  • Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth and pourable.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the Nutella mixture over the cheesecake layer.
  • Use a knife or toothpick to create swirls, gently spreading the Nutella for a marbled effect.

6. Bake

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.

7. Chill and Serve

  • Refrigerate the bars for at least 3 hours, or overnight, to set completely.
  • Once chilled, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment overhang.
  • Cut into squares and serve. Garnish with additional Nutella drizzle or powdered sugar if desired.
