- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 4 scallions, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the sliced flank steak, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add the scallions, garlic, and ginger, and stir-fry for another minute.
- Return the beef to the skillet and add the rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of chili oil or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for heat.
- You can substitute flank steak with sirloin or skirt steak for a different texture.
