Description

Delicious Oreo Cinnamon Rolls that transform your breakfast experience with a sweet and creamy twist.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (for filling)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch round baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle the brown sugar, cinnamon, and crushed Oreo cookies evenly on top.
  7. Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Pinch the seams to seal.
  8. Slice the log into 8 equal pieces and place them in the prepared baking dish.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. While the rolls are baking, prepare the icing by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  11. Once the rolls are done, let them cool for a few minutes before drizzling the icing over the top.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of nutmeg to the filling.
  • You can also substitute the crushed Oreos with chocolate chips for a different twist.
