Ingredients
- 8 cups of whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 package (15.25 ounces) of Oreo cookies, crushed
- 2 packages (3.4 ounces each) of instant chocolate pudding mix
- 4 cups of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Chocolate shavings or additional crushed Oreos for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until well combined. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.
- In another bowl, fold in the whipped topping and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- In a large trifle dish or individual cups, layer the ingredients starting with a layer of crushed Oreos at the bottom.
- Add a layer of the chocolate pudding mixture over the Oreos, followed by a layer of the whipped topping mixture.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped topping on top.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or additional crushed Oreos if desired.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
