A delightful dessert combining the flavors of peach cobbler and cheesecake, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (15 ounces) sliced peaches in syrup, drained and chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray or butter.
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared springform pan to form the crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add 1 cup granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, mix in the sour cream until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the chopped peaches, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg until evenly distributed.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and a pinch of cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the cheesecake.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and crack the door open, allowing the cheesecake to cool in the oven for 1 hour.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
- For a twist, try adding a layer of caramel sauce on top before serving.
- Substitute the peaches with fresh berries for a different flavor.
- You can also use a store-bought crust for quicker preparation.
