Description

A delicious and irresistible Peanut Butter Pretzel Pie with a crunchy pretzel crust and creamy peanut butter filling, topped with chocolate and garnished with pretzels.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed pretzels
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (for topping)
  • ¼ cup chopped pretzels (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the pretzel mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until fully combined.
  5. Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled pretzel crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the peanut butter filling.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped pretzels on top for garnish. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
  8. Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy your delicious Peanut Butter Pretzel Pie!

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate.
  • Add a layer of caramel sauce between the peanut butter filling and the crust for an extra sweet twist.
