A delicious and irresistible Peanut Butter Pretzel Pie with a crunchy pretzel crust and creamy peanut butter filling, topped with chocolate and garnished with pretzels.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups crushed pretzels
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips (for topping)
- ¼ cup chopped pretzels (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Press the pretzel mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until fully combined.
- Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled pretzel crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the peanut butter filling.
- Sprinkle the chopped pretzels on top for garnish. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy your delicious Peanut Butter Pretzel Pie!
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate.
- Add a layer of caramel sauce between the peanut butter filling and the crust for an extra sweet twist.
