Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form an even crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, add the sour cream, flour, and salt. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool at room temperature for about 1 hour. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
  7. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
