Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

- 4 cups powdered sugar

- 1 cup chopped pistachios
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until well combined and the batter is smooth. Spread this mixture evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add in the 2 eggs, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, chopped pistachios, and salt. Mix until fully combined and creamy.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter in the pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set but still slightly gooey.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
