Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Pizza Burger Pie that combines the flavors of pizza and burgers in a delightful pie crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes until well combined.
  4. Add pizza sauce to the skillet and stir until the beef is well coated. Remove from heat.
  5. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-inch pie dish, sealing the seams.
  6. Pour the beef mixture into the crescent roll crust, spreading it evenly.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and sliced pepperoni.
  8. Fold the edges of the crescent roll dough over the filling, brushing the dough with olive oil and sprinkling with grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
