Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Pork Tenderloin with Honey Garlic Sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (optional for thickening)
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Rub this spice mixture all over the pork tenderloin.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned pork tenderloin and sear on all sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar. Pour this sauce over the seared pork in the skillet.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F.
  6. If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove the pork from the skillet after cooking, place the skillet back on the stove over medium heat, and stir in the cornstarch mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Slice the pork tenderloin and drizzle with the honey garlic sauce. Garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the pork in the honey garlic sauce for 1-2 hours before cooking.
  • You can also substitute chicken or tofu for the pork for a different protein option.
