- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the peanut butter, chocolate chips, and chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a layer of chocolate ganache on top after the cake has cooled.
- You can also substitute the semi-sweet chocolate chips with milk chocolate chips for a sweeter taste.
