Description

A decadent dessert featuring layers of Oreo cookies and a creamy salted caramel filling, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (14.3 oz each) Oreo cookies, divided
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce, divided
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  4. Take a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on the bottom.
  5. Dip each Oreo cookie quickly into the caramel sauce, then layer them on top of the cream cheese mixture in the dish.
  6. Continue layering by spreading more cream cheese mixture over the Oreos, followed by another layer of dipped Oreos.
  7. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cream cheese mixture on top.
  8. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top layer and sprinkle with sea salt.
  9. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the cake to set.
  10. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, use chocolate-flavored Oreos instead of regular ones.
  • Add chopped nuts or crushed pretzels between the layers for added crunch and flavor.
