A decadent dessert featuring layers of Oreo cookies and a creamy salted caramel filling, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 packages (14.3 oz each) Oreo cookies, divided
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup caramel sauce, divided
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Take a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on the bottom.
- Dip each Oreo cookie quickly into the caramel sauce, then layer them on top of the cream cheese mixture in the dish.
- Continue layering by spreading more cream cheese mixture over the Oreos, followed by another layer of dipped Oreos.
- Repeat this process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cream cheese mixture on top.
- Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top layer and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the cake to set.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, use chocolate-flavored Oreos instead of regular ones.
