Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup crumbled angel food cake
- 1 cup granola
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth and thickened, about 2 minutes. Set aside.
- In a large trifle dish or individual serving glasses, begin layering the ingredients. Start with a layer of crumbled angel food cake at the bottom.
- Add a layer of vanilla pudding, followed by a layer of whipped cream. Then, sprinkle a layer of granola on top.
- Add a layer of sliced strawberries and blueberries. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream and a few berries on top for garnish.
- Cover the trifle with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
