Description

Scoop of Heaven Trifle is a delightful layered dessert featuring whipped cream, vanilla pudding, fresh fruits, and crumbled angel food cake, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup crumbled angel food cake
  • 1 cup granola

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth and thickened, about 2 minutes. Set aside.
  3. In a large trifle dish or individual serving glasses, begin layering the ingredients. Start with a layer of crumbled angel food cake at the bottom.
  4. Add a layer of vanilla pudding, followed by a layer of whipped cream. Then, sprinkle a layer of granola on top.
  5. Add a layer of sliced strawberries and blueberries. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream and a few berries on top for garnish.
  6. Cover the trifle with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, substitute chocolate pudding mix for vanilla and add chocolate shavings on top.
  • Use seasonal fruits like peaches or raspberries for a different flavor profile.
