Description

Indulge in a decadent treat with these Skillet S’mores Brownies, combining rich chocolate brownies with graham crackers and marshmallows.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet or oven-safe skillet with cooking spray.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the skillet and spread it evenly.
  8. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs over the top, followed by the mini marshmallows.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
  11. Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for an extra treat.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a teaspoon of espresso powder to the brownie batter.
  • If you want a nutty twist, fold in 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans along with the chocolate chips.
