Indulge in a decadent treat with these Skillet S’mores Brownies, combining rich chocolate brownies with graham crackers and marshmallows.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet or oven-safe skillet with cooking spray.
- Pour the brownie batter into the skillet and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs over the top, followed by the mini marshmallows.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for an extra treat.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a teaspoon of espresso powder to the brownie batter.
- If you want a nutty twist, fold in 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans along with the chocolate chips.
