Description

Slutty Brownie Cookie Dough Cake is a decadent dessert that combines layers of cookie dough and brownie for an irresistible treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 box brownie mix (family size, about 18.3 oz)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg (for brownie mix)
  • 1 cup cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Spread half of the cookie dough batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  7. In a separate bowl, prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions, using the water, vegetable oil, and additional egg. Pour the brownie batter over the cookie dough layer in the pan.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough on top of the brownie layer, spreading it out as evenly as possible. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts to the brownie layer or cookie dough.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for an indulgent dessert.
