Description

A quick and easy recipe for S’mores Rice Krispies Treats that combines the classic flavors of s’mores with the beloved Rice Krispies treat.


Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  2. Stir in the graham cracker crumbs until well combined.
  3. Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the mixture and gently fold until all the cereal is coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, using a spatula or your hands (dampened with water to prevent sticking) to flatten it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the mini marshmallows on top and gently press them into the mixture.
  7. Allow the treats to cool completely at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a drizzle of melted chocolate on top before serving.
  • You can also substitute the chocolate chips with peanut butter chips for a different twist.
