Description

A delicious and indulgent Snickers Cheesecake that combines the flavors of creamy cheesecake with the beloved Snickers candy bars.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped Snickers bars (about 45 bars)
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • Chopped peanuts for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared springform pan to form a crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, fold in the sour cream and chopped Snickers bars until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and crack the door open, allowing the cheesecake to cool in the oven for 1 hour.
  7. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  8. Before serving, drizzle chocolate syrup and caramel sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped peanuts if desired.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use a combination of milk chocolate and dark chocolate Snickers bars.
  • To make it a no-bake cheesecake, substitute the eggs and bake time with 1 cup of whipped cream folded into the cream cheese mixture before chilling.
